Make USB Bootable

Formatting your computer, probably you use to boot new OS from CD or DVD. But sometime you may have to face some criticalities, like storing your CD or DVD, some time you may have no DVD ROM to boot from, and booting from DVD is slower than USB.

So, many of us use to boot from USB flash drive. It is easier to boot and also easy to store the files in your pc, and make your pendrive bootable when you need it.

For booting from your flash drive you may flow two procedure

1. Use Unetbootin or other booting software.

2. Use Command prompt.

for first one you need to download a application choose your OS, on which you are working.

then run this software,

select the source (.iso file) in which your boot files are stored

and select the flash drive that you want to make bootable.

and then click OK.

that's all, it will take its time and then the task will be completed.

And for the second one you need no software,

from your windows press windows button and R

then in run window write 'cmd' and hit enter.

then the Command prompt will open

now write 'diskpart' and hit enter, it may require administrative permission.

write 'list disk' and hit enter

from the list select your desired disk, like 'select disk 1'

now you need to clean all partition

write 'clean' and hit enter.

now write 'create partition primary' and hit enter.

then select the created partition, write 'select partition 1'

then to make the new partition bootable you need to active it.

write 'active' and hit enter.

then you need to format the new partition,

our file system will be ntfs and we'll use quick format to save time write 'format fs=ntfs quick'

now to assign the drive you need to write 'assign' and hit enter

you are done. now write 'exit' and hit enter. you are done.

Now for installing OS you need to restart your PC. and you may need to select the USB drive as the first priority boot derive.

Sharing Internet From Modem Through Router

If you have an USB modem or any internet connection in your computer and you need to share internet to other pc through earthnet cable or creat hotspot, then you can follow this procedure.

First of all connect your PC to the internet. Then connect the computer or router to your pc with earthnet cable. In the case of connecting to router, don't forget to connect the LAN cable to the wan port, the separated or different colored one.

Now from the control panel Network and sharing center or open it form notification icon.

Now from your active networks click on the network through which you are connected to the internet. Not the one to which you want to share internet. 

then click properties and then the sharing tab.  

then check the allow bottom and go to setting and allow what you want to share.

then confirm these tasks clicking OK.

and now you are connected to the internet.

How To Make Bulletproof Glass

Bulletproof glass, balastic glass, transparent armor .......... we all know them, we know what they do and where are they used.

Now, How this brittle crystal glass become so tough?

Let's start from very initial thinking.... 

TAKE some balls (football, stone, metal ball) and glass plates  (better if square) then attach them to a firm. 

Then attach a glass plate and through a stone from very close, the glass is not broken of flexed.

Then through from a bit farther, not flexed. But cracked not broken. And check the area of crack region. Almost all over the plate. The area is vast larger then contact surface between ball and glass.

Then through the ball from more distance. Glass is broken(a hole). And also cracked. But check, this time few number of crack.  And cracking region is smaller then before.

Now through the ball from far distance and ensure enough kinetic energy (like a bullet). This time just a hole and this hole is also bit larger then the ball.

This time we'll perform this experiment with football. We may need it later. 

Through the football from long distance and with enough kinetic fore, ensure to cross the previous one. No hole. Maybe not cracked yet, or some minor crack. 

From these experiments we've seen that, glass increase the acting surface area of force. But if kinetic force is too high comparing to hitting surface area, it's brittle limit  (stiffness) cross and then the forced portion be detached. But if the hitting surface is big enough comparing to hitting surface, the glass at least will not be broken.

NOW THE NEXT EXPERIMENT. 

This time Take a polycarbonate glass plate and through the metallic ball with heavy kinetic force. Little flexed and some crack. 

But when we'll fire bullet, it will be teared , for sure.

Because the stress is too big that polymer bonds will break down.

NOW THINK WIDELY.

If we gluten a crystal glass plate with a polycarbonate glass, then we fire bullet? 

First the bullet will hit the crystal glass. And the acting forced area will be increased. And glass will pretend to break and detach. But for resistance of another plate it can't but increase in area to decrease the stress. 

Then the force will hit (force not the bullet) in large area and small stress.

THIS WILL NOT BREAK.

For tougher performance several glass plate of crystal glasses and polycarbonate glasses are attached one by one by heating and cooling reciprocally .

BULLETPROOF GLASSES MAY BE 2 cm TO 10 cm THICK. 

But they are not completely invincible, reciprocating hitting may destroy bulletproof glasses. 

How to make Hall Sensor

First thing, what is Hall Sensor?
Hall sensor is mechanism to measure parameters like rotation, pulse, speed, flow rate etc. using Hall effect.

Then What is hall effect?
the production of a voltage difference (the Hall voltage) across an electrical conductor, transverse to an electric current in the conductor and a magnetic field perpendicular to the current.

Now To the point?

What will we make today?

We'll make a rotation counter.

Take a permanent magnet, and attach it to any portion of your bicycle wheel (maybe with spoke). Then Make a wire coil with a soft iron core. Then attach this coil with stationary part of your bicycle, so that the permanent megnet rotating with wheel passes by the coil, not touching but close. And must align the iron core inside the coil paerpendicular.

Then when the permanent magnet come close to the coil, according to hall effect you get a pulse of hall voltage.

here a graphing calculator shows the pulses through picks. And we also see the time required for rotation.

Now just you need to count the pulse.
